Here comes the sun......

We welcomed the mild weather this weekend with open arms. We heard about this patisserie and choclatier called Belgique Patisserie up in Kent CT. It was rated one of the top 10 things to do in CT so we decided to take a drive and check it out. It was FABULOUS!! Everything was amazingly gorgeous. If you have ever seen the show Chocolate then you know the kind of beautiful I'm talking about. We had such a fun time picking out chocolate and desserts and an even better time trying everything out. We ate at an adorable restaurant afterwards and decided the scenery in this town was too colorful and perfect to pass up. So we got out the camera and took advantage of the moment. Xo Xo!!

DAY AT THE MUSEUM

This post is a little overdue. A couple of weekends ago Shan and Kent flew out to NYC for the weekend to see The Little Mermaid on broadway. We were so excited to have family out here for the weekend so we went down to the city Saturday to have dinner with them. After freezing for long enough we decided to call it a night and to meet up again in the city the next morning to go to the Museum of Natural History. None of us had ever been before and Col and I have wanted to go since we moved here. So it was a perfect excuse for us to get to spend another day with the Piersons in the city. The museum was amazing and overwhelming. It is so massive you definitely get your $'s worth. After a few hours we decided we were burned out and ready for dinner. And no trip to the city is complete without a stop at Dale and Thomas. Kent made us all die laughing as he busted out a solo in the middle of the silent store to PINK. We were all trying to choose popcorn and all of a sudden Kent belts out "mmm CHECK MY FLO' URGH". The guy behind the counter was all "right??? I thought I was the only one". It was classic! We had such a great time. It was so nice to see our family and make good use out of our weekend. WE love you guys! Come visit soon!!
