WEEKEND FUNTIME!

When the sun comes out so does everyone else!!! Cols and I could not resist the gorgeous weekend we just had. The sun was finally out and the temperature was in the low 70's. We took every opportunity to be out in it and enjoying it. So we had picnics, ice cream, and walks on the beach. We busted out the BBQ and had our friends over to kick off the BBQ season. We made s'mores and played the wii. It was such a fabulous weekend!!

THE WINDY CITY

I took a little trip to Chicago over Easter weekend. Both my offices were closed so I figured I would take advantage of a week off. I had such a blast visiting my friends and getting lost in such a fun city. I hadn't been to Chi-town since my dad lived there. So I definitely wanted to retrace steps Dennis and I took when I was there with him. It was really fun to see the city through adult eyes. And just to walk and think and take in the city. I wish Col would have got to come enjoy it with me. However it gave me a chance to totally miss him and everything I did or didn't do while I was there he was there with me. And I knew exactly the things he would have loved and exactly how it would have been if he was there with me. For one there would have been less Taxi's and MORE L's. Less room service and more trips to 7/11. He would have AVOIDED Michigan Ave like the plague. And I made sure to visit it daily. He was grateful to see the size of my suitcases and realize there wouldn't be room for too much shopping while I was away. Anyways it was a great time and thanks so much Cols for letting me go and for such a great week. Love you! Xo Xo
