Thailand Escape

Colin took me to Thailand for Graduation. We had such an amazing time. We didn't want to come home. Be careful what you wish for though. We lost our passports and got an unexpected extension on our vacation. As big of a nightmare as that may seem, there are worse things that could happen than lounging pool side at a 5 star hotel. Now we are experts at filing Thai police reports, going to Thai immigration, and spending the day at the United States Embassy. No pictures can do this experience justice. Seeing this stuff first hand is incredible. You just try to convince yourself of how real the things are that you are seeing. You spend most of the time just trying to make yourself take it all in. We truly feel so fortunate to have been able to go and share this adventure together. It was so worth it!

Col and I spend an evening at sunset on Kata
beach in Phuket. The writing in the sand says
"Thailand". Creative I know.

The famous floating markets of Thailand
Kodak moment at the floating market
Col and I going on an jungle trek via 40 year old
female elephant.
Colin's amazing photography skills of a boat
at the Pei Pei islands.
Playing in the 80 degree crystal clear water of
the Pei Pei islands
Feeding the colorful fish of the Pei Pei islands.
(One bit me in the back of the leg)
Colin feeding the fish.
No wonder he's mine!
Sexiest fish in the sea!!! The
only fish for me.
Col and I at the Grand palace in Bangkok.
Colin Feeding the monkeys at Monkey Beach.
The cave where bird nests are collected to make
bird nest soup. A guy lives in the cave and is
authorized to shoot anyone who enters. The
going price for the nests is $145,000 Baht per
Kilo.
Enjoying the incredible sand of the Pei Pei islands.
Arriving after the 1 1/2 hour boat trip to the islands.
The massive reclining Buddha of Wat Po.
Posing Thai style at the Grand Palace.

Demons at the Grand Palace.
Temples visible from the water taxi.
